About Me

Hi there! I’m Schweitzer, a UX/UI designer from Iowa who’s all about tackling complex problems and finding solutions. My path into design wasn’t exactly traditional—I actually started out in healthcare, driven by a passion to help others. It turns out that passion carried over perfectly into UX/UI, where I now get to create thoughtful, user-centered experiences that make a real difference.

My time in healthcare was like a masterclass in problem-solving under pressure. Working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments taught me how to stay calm, think critically, and collaborate effectively. I’ve always been driven to find solutions, whether it was helping patients or now, building digital products that make life easier for users. The way I see it, both fields are about understanding people, identifying their needs, and delivering something that truly works.

In design, I approach every project with the same mindset—dig deep into the problem before jumping to solutions. I love working with teams who share that vision and believe in the power of collaboration to create something amazing. That’s why I’m especially drawn to start-ups and design agencies where innovation and big ideas thrive.

When I’m not designing (or wearing scrubs), you’ll find me on the pickleball court, where I get to channel my love for competition, coaching, and connecting with people from all walks of life.

I’m really excited about the next step in my journey and can’t wait to bring my skills, passion, and problem-solving mindset to new challenges. Let’s chat about how we can create something great together!
